Moroccan Meatballs, Peas, Artichoke & Preserved lemon sauce

INGREDIENTS

All ingredients can be ordered on my amazon shop except perishble items-

Ingredients-:

2 Tbsp. lemon juice

1 Tbsp. meat balls spice mix

1/2 of a preserved lemon, sliced.

4-6 garlic cloves, sliced

2 cups water

2 small bags of frozen artichoke hearts

21/2 cups frozen green peas

1 eggs

1 lb. ground beef

1 zucchini or potato to shred

Do not add salt! the preserved lemons are very salty, taste the final dish before you add salt.

TO MAKE

Mix the ground meat with the spice mix, egg, and zucchini or potato shredded, mix well

add oil to a pan, agg crushed garlic cook 1 minute only, add water and lemon juice, cook 3 minutes.

Add frozen artichoke, place a meatball on each artichoke, fill up the pot with the frozen peas & the preserved lemon.

Bring to a boil, cover, lower the heat and cook for about 25-30 minutes, uncover & cook on simmer to thicken the sauce.
